Philadelphia magazine is running a photo essay about babies born in Philly and is looking to capture a home birth.

The hook is this: It’s a snapshot of babies born on the same exact day—from various backgrounds and in various environments—throughout the region.

They are requesting that any doulas or midwives who have home birth clients that might be interested in have a photographer there (for the parts they feel comfortable with) contact them by October 24th.

The logistical challenge is this: They will pick a day the week of November 14th and if you have a client who is interested and in labor, they will send a photographer out. Afterwards, the editor will follow-up with interview questions.

If you have questions or interested clients, please contact: Ashley Primis, Executive Editor of Philadelphia Magazine, at aprimis@phillymag.com
